Mid 1970

In the mid 70’s, rock rose to a whole new level or popularity, which is no where close to the rock ‘n’ roll of today. Rock icons in the 70’s were way more glamorous. There was a whole load of bling accompanied with a pair of shades (at times), eye-catching accessories, and a touch of feminine touch. It was more of Glam rock. A look that Elton John  and ABBA carries out.

In the late 70’s, punk rock was introduced, not like glam rock. But a little less toned-down. Young men idolized rock-stars like, Freddie Mercury & David Bowie. Key elements in their style included platform shoes, over-sized collar, silk scarves and ascots and satin shirts paired with tan or black leather jackets.

HardRock in the 1970’s were similar to all the style in the 70’s. Bell-bottoms were always used, vibrant colors were incorporated, unbottoned long sleeve satin shirt, and ofcourse the long curly hair of a rockstar. For instance, bands like Led Zappelin, The Rolling Stones & Aerosmith.
